Gandolph St. Clair publishes "The Third Umpire"

The Third Umpire, a commissioned work by the 2007 St. Lucia International Cricket Council, written by Gandolph St. Clair and dedicated to the memory of a great St. Lucian Cricket stalwart, the late Francis "Mindoo" Phillip is a riveting, hilarious drama. In essence The Third Umpire is the authorial voice through which the characters speak as they discuss the history and changing rules and format of Cricket, the involvement of the local Cricket icon in the game of Cricket, all of this is done in discourse by a team of youth in amusing and brilliant wordplay as they venture into related topics that emerge. The Third Umpire is a fitting tribute to the late Francis "Mindoo" Phillip makes for pleasant reading and urges action on stage to make it come alive.

Nou Las (Konpa Soca) is Gandolph St. Clair’s latest contribution to the music scene here in St. Lucia. The infectious track is laced with Gandolph's distinctive lead vocals, backed up by Alvin Mathurin. The track was recorded at The Mix Lab Studio and was mixed and mastered by Ron Louis at DML Studio in Laborie. Give it a listen, it will have your feet tapping and head bobbing.
